Every Voice

The Every Voice Group meets monthly and is led by Patient Partners from each ward. It is also attended by Executive Directors and other senior leaders in the Trust.

At the meetings, we discuss current concerns and issues, and work together to find a solution. We also share what is working well and how this can be shared with other wards and areas.

There are also paid opportunities alongside the group to work on projects and reviews of services, policies and updates.

Louise Bannister headshotEvery Voice Guardian

Louise Bannister is our Every Voice Guardian in Lincolnshire. She said:

"My role is to improve patient experience, enhance patient safety and minimise the power divide that patients may experience.

"I do this by listening to any concerns or experiences patients wish to share. This can be in person, by email or by phone. I then ensure that these are heard and acted upon by the relevant people if required, and I will provide feedback.

"I would like to hear about patient experiences, both good and bad, alongside ideas on how we can improve the patient/carer experience of accessing our services.

"I also support patients and carers to be partners in service development and improvements through the Every Voice Group and other project groups."

Our Guardian will:

  • Talk to patients and listen to concerns and ideas.
  • Support patients to raise concerns to the right person or in ward meetings.
  • Support patients to attend the Every Voice Meeting on talk on their behalf.
  • Escalate concerns to a senior level of the Trust.
  • Provide feedback on concerns and ideas, and any actions taken.
  • Follow up any actions or changes to ensure they are making a difference.
